Tabung Haji Declared 8.0% Bonus/Dividend for 2015

Lembaga Tabung Haji or Pilgrim Fund Board of Malaysia announced bonus comprising 5.0 per cent annual bonus (dividend) and 3.0 per cent special Hajj bonus for financial year ended 31st December 2015.

This bring the total bonus to 8 percent. The total bonus is 0.25 percent less than  the amount declared in 2014.

The Hajj Bonus is only to depositors who have not performed their Hajj and limited to the current hajj fee (RM9,980) or their average monthly deposit for 2015 which ever lower. The Hajj Bonus would benefit 8.23 million Tabung Haji depositors who have yet to perform their pilgrimage.

RM500 Billion In Debt – Is The Malaysian Government Bankrupt?


Bankrupt“We are going bankrupt in five years time”

“The government has no more money and we have RM500 billion of debt”

“Mismanagement and Corruption has made us poorer”

These are the routine statements you may have heard regarding the state of the Malaysian government finances.  But do they hold any water?

A while back, in Book 3 of the 259 Trillion Vs 5 Trillion Series, my co-author and I have presented the calculations of the US Government assets and compared them to the so called “mountain of debts” and found out that the opposite was the truth, that the US has far more asset than debt.  People with their own agenda use half-baked statistics to propel “unsuspecting” citizens to become angry and extremely emotional toward their own governments, masking their true intention, which is mostly for power grabs.  As such, with such roaring emotional outburst of various camps on small issues, I will try to dispel a few myths on the Government of Malaysia.  One should view things with brains and facts and not on sensationalized half-truths and emotion.

Recently, Lembaga Tabung Haji or Pilgrim Fund Board of Malaysia announced bonus comprising 6.0 per cent annual bonus (dividend) and 2.0 per cent special Hajj bonus for financial year ended 31st December 2013.

This bring the total bonus to 8 percent. The total bonus is similar to the amount declared in 2012.

The Hajj Bonus is only to depositors who have not performed their Hajj and limited to the current hajj fee (RM9,980) or their average monthly deposit for 2013 which ever lower.

Tabung Haji Declared 8.0% Dividend & Bonus for 2012

Recently, Lembaga Tabung Haji or Pilgrim Fund Board of Malaysia announced a Golden Jubilee bonus comprising 6.5 per cent annual dividend and 1.5 per cent special bonus for financial year ended 31st December 2012. This bring the total dividend and bonus to 8 percent, the highest since year 2000.

The dividend was 0.5 per cent higher than the 2011 rate, which was 6.0 per cent but there is no bonus announced in 2011.

Tabung Haji Declared 6.0% Dividend for 2011

Recently, Lembaga Tabung Haji or Pilgrim Fund Board of Malaysia announced a 6.0 percent dividend for financial year end 31st December 2011. The total dividend payout was RM1.67 billion, an increase of 25 per cent against RM1.33 billion in 2010.

The dividend was 0.5 per cent higher than the 2010 rate, which was 5.5 per cent and will benefited 6.9 million depositors nationwide. The dividend will be deposited the their account on Wednesday 8th February 2012.
