Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB) was launched in November 2010 with the aim to enable Bumiputera investors to own real-estate assets at prime location.

With an initial fund size of RM1 billion, it was fully subscribed within a few months after launching. There is a plan to increase the fund size by another RM500 million. Bumiputera may subscribed to the fund either own cash or loan facility. The first-year dividend income is at 6.5 percent per annum.

At the financial year end of 30 September 2011, AHB has 55,827 unitholders & 5 assets worth RM800 million while the remaining  RM200 million are in cash.

Total profit for the same period was RM60.2 million. Profit from assests least was RM54.4 million while the remaining 5.8 million was from a bank deposit.

SARA 1Malaysia

The previous post on Skim Amanah Rakyat 1Malaysia (SARA 1Malaysia) was getting a lot of interest and many readers are asking for more details information, especially on how to subscribe. Where can you get an investment fund with a government guarantee of 32% annual return?

Kindly take note that, the scheme is only eligible to one member per household. Eligible household refers to individuals with gross household monthly income of between RM500 and RM3,000 including the following categories,

SARA 1Malaysia

As highlighted in 2012 Budgets, households with a monthly income in between RM500 to RM3,000 will be eligible to participate in Skim Amanah Rakyat 1Malaysia (SARA 1Malaysia). The scheme will be opened starting 30th January 2012.

The scheme is a hybrid of a unit trust investment and loan product, capable of generating consistent cash flow or monthly incentives.

Under SARA 1Malaysia scheme, the eligible participant may invest up to RM5,000 into the scheme for the period of five years by using their own money or taking a loan from either Maybank, CIMB, RHB Bank or Bank Simpanan Nasional. The loan repayment period is five years.

Pavilion REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) is scheduled to be listed in Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on the 7th December 2011. The Initial Public Offering (IPO) consists of 790 million units at an IPO price of RM0.88 per unit.

Out of these, 755 million units are offered to Malaysian and foreign institutional and selected investors and a retail offering of 35 million units to the Malaysian public, eligible tenants and directors of the Manager and its eligible employees, Urusharta Cemerlang Sdn Bhd, Capital Flagship Sdn Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd.

The institutional price will be determined by way of book building while for the retail application, it is payable at RM0.88 upon application. If the final retail price is lower, the difference will be refunded.

Amanah Hartanah Bumipureta

Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd (PHB), has announced a final interim dividend of 3.25 sen per unit for Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera Unit Trust Fund (AHB) for the period of six months ended 30th September 2011 which also its financial year end.

The total dividend for year 2011 is 5.42 sen for 10-month periods. It would translate to 6.5 percent annual return and comparable with the funds managed by Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad.

The income distribution is tax-exempted and will be directly credited into the unit holders associated bank accounts on 19th October 2011.
