AMEX is currently going on promotion where card holders will enjoy 15% cash back at all American Express Card accepting merchants in the selected malls, with an exception to the supermarkets, hypermarkets, hotels and their F&B and retail outlets within the mall.
Promotion is valid from 1 November 2009 to 28 February 2010. All American Express Cards issued by Maybank and Maybank Islamic are eligible to enjoy this promotion. However American Express Corporate Cards are not eligible. SMS or registration is not required.
The Cash Back is capped at RM150 per Customer (Principal Cardmember) per month, and subject to a maximum payout of RM4,000,000 for all Cardmembers during the campaign period, whichever is earlier, and based on first come, first served basis. There is no minimum transaction to benefit from this offer.
The 15% cash back is in addition to the generic TreatsPoints or Membership Rewards Points, and over & above discounts or savings offered by Participating Merchants.
Supermarkets or Hypermarkets that are not eligible which are located in the Selected Malls are Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer and Isetan supermarket.
Hotels and their F&B and Retails outlets located that are not eligible which are located in the Selected Malls are Boulevard Hotel, Cititel Hotel, One World Hotel, JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur and The Royale Bintang Damansara.
Qualifying Transaction include transactions from department stores located at the Selected Malls, for example: Isetan, Jusco Department Stores, Metrojaya, Parkson and Tangs.
