Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB2) unitholders will receive a maiden dividend of 7.75 sen per unit for the financial year ending 31st March 2015. The dividend comprised of 7.5 sen dividend and 0.25 sen of special dividend.
ASB2 was the best performing newly-launched unit trust fund in a one-year subscription period, compared to other fixed-priced products previously launched by ASNB.

The dividend will involve a total payout of RM92 million involving 2.06 billion units subscribed by 103,546 unit holders.
As of 29th March 2015, ASB2 recorded a gross income of RM130.6 million, of which income from the sale of shares contributed RM86 million, or 65.8 per cent.
Dividend income from investment in companies contributed RM30 million, while the remaining RM14.6 million was derived from other income.
The income distribution and bonus would be automatically credited into the respective unitholder’s account. Unitholders could update their accounts beginning 1st April 2015 at ASNB branches or agents nationwide.
All ASB2 transactions will be suspended starting from 22nd to 31st March 2015 to facilitate the calculation of income distribution and bonus.
