Citibank is having a new credit card called Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card. The card carries a VISA Signature logo and it is suppose to be more prestigious than platinum card.

The card will reward you 1 PremierMile for every RM3 spend on shopping, dining, entertainment or travel, anywhere in the world. The PremierMiles can be used to redeem on over 50 airlines or to offset your travel purchases.

That’s right! you can fly at your convenience on the airline of your choice. And the best part is the PremierMiles are never expired.

Regarding the redemption of PremierMile for free flight, you have to convert PremierMiles to Participating Airlines Flyer Program (FFP) Miles. The participating FFP are Enrich, KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, Sky Miles and Royal Orchid Plus.

For Every 1 PremierMiles you will received 1 FFP miles (KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, Sky Miles or Royal Orchid Plus) or 0.73 Enrich miles.

After conversion you have to book your free airlines ticket through FPP partner airlines.

Other than point conversion to FFP miles, you may use PremierMiles for cash rebate on Travel related retail purchase. The rebate rate is RM18 per 1000 PremierMiles which is equivalent to 0.6% cash rebate.

If you apply the card now, you will be rewarded with 2,000 PremierMiles upon your first transaction. You also will be receiving 10,000 PremierMiles on card renewal and pay your annual card fee.

In order to apply you must be at least 21 years old for primary and 18 years old for supplementary card holders. You also must received at least RM60,000 annual income.

There is no annual fee for the first year but you will be charged RM600 annual fee for every subsequent years but remember, normally Citibank can waive the annual fee if you are using the card. All you have to do is call the customer services.
