Property Stock IPO, Tambun Indah Land Berhad (TILB)


Tambun Indah Land Bhd (TILB), a leading property developer in Penang, is scheduled for a main-market listing on 18th January 2011. The company was established in 1995, will continue to focus on the property market in Penang but also eyeing for landbank in the Klang Valley like in Shah Alam and Kajang.

Currently, TILB has enough funds for expansion but decided to go for a listing as it wants to raise the company’s profile and build confidence among its associates and customers.

Tambun Indah’s IPO consists of a public issue of 32 million new ordinary shares at an IPO price of 70 sen per share with RM0.50 par value.

ASN Unitholders Get 6 sen Dividend for 2010

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), announced an income distribution of 6.00 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) scheme for the financial year ending 31st Dec 2010. It was 0.80 sen higher when compared 5.20 sen per unit declared in 2009.

The income distribution would involve a total payment of RM89.88 million compared with the RM81.52 million paid last year.

Generally, ASN’s performance in 2010 was better than last year due to better country’s economy and the stock market. In the same period, gross income was RM112.02 million. Profit from the sale of shares contributed RM63.07 million or 56.30 percent, followed by dividend income from investee companies of RM39.18 million or 34.98 percent.

Petronas Carigali Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2011?

It was speculated earlier that Petronas Carigali to listed in Bursa Malaysia when Prime Minister announced to reduce state ownership in the private sector early this year. However, it did not materialize after Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) listed Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd (MHE) and Petronas Chemicals Groups (PCG).

Now, the speculation come to surface again as a few of stock research companies such as MIDF Research and OSK Research release reports of possible IPO for Petronas Carigali.

Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd is the exploration unit of Petronas, may be listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2011 and it is expected to attract a large number of foreign funds.

1-million-dollar-blog is Moving to New Webhosting Provider

This post is to inform that 1-million-dollar-blog will move to a new webhosting provider soon. As result, the website may be inaccessible for short period of time but I hope it should me minimal.

The main reason for the moves is due to poor performance of current hosting provider such many downtimes, site inaccessible & taking long time to load when Google bots come to crawl. Many blogger will know, all these will cause site and page rank to drop & subsequently will reduce the traffic from search engine.
