Prestariang Berhad (PRESBHD, 5204) was incorporated in 2003 as an Information and Communication Technology Services company, focussing on professional training and certification.
Currently, it offers 40 certification courses from various technology and software vendors and organizations, including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, CompTIA, Autodesk, EC-Council, Adobe and others.
Prestariang was listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market on 27th July 2011 win an IPO price of 90 sen. Unfortunately, due to listing timing, the share price performed badly since the listing day. The price drop to lowest of 47.5 sen on 19th September. It was close at 55.5 sen on 5th October.
The management has set a dividend policy of up to 50% for the next 3 years. Based on forecast earnings by OSK Research, it translates into a lucrative dividend yield of >10% for both FY11 and FY12 given the recent weakness in the share price. OSK Research also estimates, the target price or fair value of Prestariang at 92 sen representing 66.8% up site potential from 5th October closing price.

In 2010, Malaysia’s total external trade was at RM1.17 trillion up from RM988 billion in 2009. However, trade surplus was down to 110 billion Ringgit from RM118 billion a year before.
Malaysia largest trading partner is China with total trade of RM147 billion in 2010 up from RM127 billion in 2009.
In terms of trade surplus, Malaysia earns the most from Singapore with RM25 billion in surplus. On the other hand, Malaysia lost the most to Indonesia with a trade deficit of RM11 billion.

OSK still foresees potential for further market retracement, although a possible deep recession can probably be averted. However, OSK maintains 2012 KLCI fair value at 1466 pts seeing a slow recovery forward unlike in 2009.
OSK is recommending Telcos, Consumer, Healthcare and Media as defensive sectors. With the market approaching 1350pts non recessionary bottom, OSK believes some Bottom “Nibbling” would be reasonable, although aggressive bottom fishing is not recommended.

August MPOB statistics were within expectations with stock levels easing off as production saw a weaker month. Going forward, ECMLibra expects that production and exports are going to pick up concurrently, hence leading us to maintain our Neutral call. ECMLibra do note that the recurrence of a La Nina and also supply concerns in the soybean market could be re-rating catalysts for the sector.
ECMLibra has Trading Buy calls on all stocks under coverage except KLK. These companies currently trade below their historical average P/E multiples while CPO prices are at the RM3,000/mt levels and improved production is giving rise to strong earnings.
