What Property Investors want from the Newly Formed Government?


Property SectorIn early April 2013, iProperty.com, the number 1 property website in Malaysia conducted a survey through their website. The survey aimed to gather information from Malaysian Property Hunters / Searches on their needs from the new government that will form after the 13th General Election.

The survey which was conducted in between 12th to 16th April 2013 with the title “Will the upcoming General Elections affect the real estate market?”. It manage to attract 2275 property hunters & searchers throughout Malaysia.

Generally, most Property Hunters / Searches in Malaysia want the government to curb the rising of the property price. The full outcome of the survey can be easily read from the infographic below.

Top 13th the Most Popular Investment Spot in Asia


The EconomistEvery year, the Economist Corporate Network—the emerging markets advisory business of The Economist Group—conducts a survey of its 500 clients in Asia Pacific. These 500 firms are some of the world’s largest multinationals, and their collective views provide critical insights into the world’s fastest growing region.

The latest Asia Business Outlook Survey (ABOS) was carried out in December 2012. Respondents were all senior executives, many of them with overall responsibility for the Asia Pacific region. The majority came from Western multinational companies.

The survey shows that China, India and Indonesia hold the top 3 spot of the most popular investment spot in Asia while Malaysia not far behind at the 4th spot.
