Bank Rakyat Declares 18% Dividend for 2012


Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd (Bank Rakyat) declares 18 percent dividend to its members for financial year end 31st December 2012.

The dividend comprises two parts. A cumulative of RM330 million will be paid in cash, and the remaining RM55 million will be offered in the form of bonus share. A total of 947,541 Bank Rakyat Co-operative members will be enjoying the dividend.

In the same period, Bank Rakyat recorded pre-tax profit of RM2.11 billion  the highest since the bank’s inception in 1954. It was RM90 million higher than 2011 pre-tax profit of RM2.02 billion.

The record pre-tax profit was driven by growth in its total income from financing and deposits, coupled with strong asset quality. The bank’s gross income rose by 13.2 per cent to RM6.23 billion.

  • rasanya, 2 % tu adalah tambahan untuk unit saham yang akan diberikan kepada pemegang sedia ada…
