As highlighted in 2012 Budgets, households with a monthly income in between RM500 to RM3,000 will be eligible to participate in Skim Amanah Rakyat 1Malaysia (SARA 1Malaysia). The scheme will be opened starting 30th January 2012.
The scheme is a hybrid of a unit trust investment and loan product, capable of generating consistent cash flow or monthly incentives.
Under SARA 1Malaysia scheme, the eligible participant may invest up to RM5,000 into the scheme for the period of five years by using their own money or taking a loan from either Maybank, CIMB, RHB Bank or Bank Simpanan Nasional. The loan repayment period is five years.

Amanah Saham Nasional will receive a of 6.05 sen per unit for Sekim Amanah Nasional (ASN) for the financial year ending 31st December 2011. The figure is 0.05 sen higher when compared with 6 sen per declared last year.

The dividend will involve a payment of RM92.8 million and will benefit 1.2 million unit holders who currently hold a total of 1.5 billion ASN units.

Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) unitholders will receive a dividend of 7.65 sen and a bonus 1.15 sen per unit for the financial year ending 31st December 2011. This brings a total of 8.8 sen distribution income for year 2011.
This dividend is 1.5 sen higher compared to 7.50 sen declared last year. However, the bonus is 0.1 sen lower than the amount declared in 2010, at 1.25 sen.

We reach towards the end of the year 2011. For ASB & ASN unitholders, it is the time for them to earn dividends for their investment.
Based on the information obtained from Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) webpage, transaction for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) & Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) will be suspended to facilitate the issuance and computation of ASB & ASN dividend for year 2011.
ASB transaction will be suspended from 21st December 2011 to 2nd January 2012 while ASN transaction will be suspended from 27th December 2011 to 2nd January 2012.
Based on history, ASB dividend will be declared in between 14th to 19th December while ASN dividend will be declared around 23rd to 24th December.

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), has announced a dividend of 6 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Nasional 3 Imbang (ASN3) for the financial year ended 30th November 2011.
The 6 sen dividend is similar to the amount paid in 2010. Kindly refer to “Historical ASN3 Dividend Rate” for previous year dividend.
The dividend will involve a total payment of RM7.52 million and would benefit 11,500 unit holders who hold 125.41 million units of ASN 3.
