AMEX is currently having a promotion where card holders will get 10X Rewards Points on petrol and grocery spending at all petrol station and selected supermarket or hypermarket. Based on points conversion of 200 points to RM1, you will get 5% cash back.
The only downside of this promotion is you have to spend RM500 elsewhere within the same month.
Promotion is valid from 1st April to 31st July 2010. All American Express Cards issued by Maybank and Maybank Islamic are eligible to enjoy this promotion. However American Express Corporate Cards and Singapore Airline KrisFlyers Card.

Citibank is having a great new feature for their Platinum Credit Card. They are offering 5X Rewards Points on purchase made at major department stores and supermarkets or hypermarkets.
On top of that, they are giving 10,000 Bonus Rewards Points for new applicants that get their application for Platinum Credit Card approved. The bonus point is only applicable for non-existing Citibank Platinum Card holder. This offer will run from 19th March 2010 to the 31st of July 2010.

CIMB recently launched a new conventional structured product that may allow high-net worth investors to earn a fixed annualised return of 4.88 per cent, plus an equity style dividend. The product called CIMB Twin Yield Income Investment.
The product is for investor who look for a combination of safety, good regular income and potential further upside.
