Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) through Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, launched Amanah Saham Nasional 2 (ASN2) fund on the 9th of June 1999. The fund objective is to provide Unitholders with a reasonable dividend yield as well as capital appreciation at an acceptable level of risk through investments made in Malaysian equity securities.

ASN2 is a equity growth fund with unit price is based on Net Assets Value (NAV). On top of the declared dividend, there will be a potential of profits (or losses) due to movement of NAV. The allocated fund size is 2.5 billion units and it is open to all Malaysian Bumiputera. It is also eligible for EPF withdrawal.

ASD

Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) through Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, launched Amanah Saham Didik (ASD) fund on the 20th of April 2001. The fund objective is to provide investment opportunity that generates reasonable long-term growth and return.

ASD is a equity growth fund with fixed-price at RM1.00 per unit. The allocated fund size is 4.5 billion units and it is open to all Malaysian Bumiputera. It is also eligible for EPF withdrawal.

Since April this year, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) has raised more than RM15 billion to add to its funds under management which are estimated to be RM80 billion to RM120 billion.

The recent launch of the RM10 billion Amanah Saham 1Malaysia was by far the biggest by the government- backed PNB. In April this year, PNB reopened Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 and Amanah Saham Malaysia to investors, which saw the sale of 5.3 million units at RM1 each.

Amanah Saham 1Malaysia was launch in conjunction with 100 days of Sixth Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Tun Razak in the Prime Minister office.

The Fund seeks to provide regular and consistent income stream whilst preserving the unitholders’ investment capital over a long term horizon through a diversified portfolio of investment.

With this facility, ASB investors can top up their ASB account online via Maybank2u.com, without the need to visit a Maybank branch or Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad’s (ASNB) office.

The new service marks a milestone as it offers ASB investors the convenience of making additional investments via Maybank2u.com from anywhere in the world. Another unique feature of this service is that it accepts additional investments to third party ASB accounts, thus allowing family members or guardians to invest for their loved ones.
