Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), a wholly owned subsidiary of PNB, recently announced an income distibution or dividends of 6.35 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020) for the financial year ended 31 August 2010.
The income distribution will involve a total payment of RM777.53 million, an increase of 32.30% compared with the previous year’s total payment of RM587.70 million. It will benefit 892,825 unit holders which currently hold 13.1 billion units of ASW 2020,

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) has announced an income distribution of 5.20 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Nasional 2 ( ASN 2) for the financial year ended June 30, 2010.
Based on the net asset value (NAV) growth of ASN 2 from RM0.9122 per unit on June 30, 2009 to RM1.0872 per unit on June 21, 2010, the total returns recorded for ASN 2 is 19.18 percent.
The income distribution will involve a total payment of RM11.2 million and would benefit a total of 9,237 unit holders who collectively owned 215 million units of ASN 2.
The fund performed better throughout the financial year ended June 30, 2010 compared to the previous corresponding period. This is in line with the encouraging performance of the country’s economy and local bourse which saw the FBM KLCI index increasing by 24.19 percent from 1,075.24 points recorded on June 30, 2009 to 1,335.29 points recorded on June 21, 2010.

For financial end 2010, ASM pays 6.3 sen dividend to the unitholders. In the same period, a total of more than 551,918 peoples subscribe in ASM with total fund size of more than RM11 billion. It means that only left less than 3 billion unit to be subscribed.
In summary, ASM invest 68.92% of the total funds size in Malaysia Stock Market. The remaining is in cash or other income instrument.

The income distribution would involve a total payment of RM207.75 million, an increase of 33.50 per cent compared with RM155.59 million paid last year. As of June 2010,there are 293,504 unit holders who collectively owned 3.59 billion units.
Until June 11, 2010, ASD recorded a gross income of RM258.33 million with dividend income from investee companies contributing RM89.09 million or 34.49 per cent to the total income.
