Current economic data shown by many economists and journalists out there on income inequality are plain wrong. First, let’s start by checking the famous statement of “The rich are getting richer, while the poor are getting poorer”.

When you sell cars to many individuals, you will end up rich. But do you know that those people buying your cars, will end up far richer combined, than you? The answer is very simple. When they buy your cars, they use the cars to enable them to go to work, earning wealth in the process. Some turn their cars into taxis, generating wealth in a slightly different way.

Physical Gold & Silver Investment Could Further Boost the Nation’s Economy

Many countries across the world are hit by the economy crisis. European countries, US and India are among the few countries who are currently struggling their way through combating the lethal crisis.

India for example, has increased the import duty of the precious metal to 4% in order to control its citizens from buying and investing in gold. Hence, this resulted in a 21 days boycott against the new policy among the goldsmiths in India. They demand for a reduction of import tax from 4% to 3%.

Pestech International Berhad IPO

Pestech International Bhd, integrated power technology company is scheduled to be listed in Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on 30th May 2012.

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) consists of public issues of 12.88 million new ordinary shares and 8.59 million shares for sale at an IPO price of RM1.00 per share at RM0.50 par value.

Out of 12.88 million new ordinary shares, 1.5 million shares are for private placement to selected investors, 6.0 million shares for application by Malaysian public and the remaining 5.4 million shares are made available to directors, employees and business associates of Pestech International Berhad.

For the offer for sale 8.59 million existing shares, 6.46 million shares allocated by way of placement to Bumiputera investors, and 2.13 million shares via placement to identified investors.

2012 Forbes Global 2000 & Ranking for Malaysian Companies

The Forbes Global 2000 is an annual ranking of the top 2000 public companies in the world features in Forbes magazine. The ranking is based on four criteria namely  Sales, Profit, Assets and Market value.

The ranking was first published in 2003 and it is a useful indicator for leading public companies in the world.

For the 2012 ranking, there are 18 Malaysian companies listed drop from 20 in 2011. The companies that no longer in the list were PLUS Expressway and PPB Group.
