China Stationery IPO Subscription Rate Only 50 Percent

China Stationery Limited Initial Public Offering (IPO) did not received a good response response of their public portion of 60 million shares. The subscription rate was only 50 percent.

The IPO attracted 2,836 applications or 29.88 million shares. The remaining unsubscribed 30.1 million shares relocated to the private placement.

In addition, 163 million shares made available for private placement to identified investors have been placed out.

Sentoria Group IPO Oversubscribed by 5.36 times

Sentoria Group Berhad Initial Public Offering (IPO) received an overwhelming response with its public portion of 20 million shares. It was oversubscribed by 5.36 times. The IPO attracted 6,829 applications or 127.2 million shares.

In addition, 30 million shares made available for private placement to identified investors have been placed out.

OSK Top 5 Stock Picks for February 2012

OSK foresees that the market could be upgraded to NEUTRAL if markets continue to rally in the first half of February. An upgrade would put the spotlight back on Construction and Oil & Gas stocks with some spillover to Financials.

Tabung Haji Declared 6.0% Dividend for 2011

Recently, Lembaga Tabung Haji or Pilgrim Fund Board of Malaysia announced a 6.0 percent dividend for financial year end 31st December 2011. The total dividend payout was RM1.67 billion, an increase of 25 per cent against RM1.33 billion in 2010.

The dividend was 0.5 per cent higher than the 2010 rate, which was 5.5 per cent and will benefited 6.9 million depositors nationwide. The dividend will be deposited the their account on Wednesday 8th February 2012.
