AMEX is currently going on promotion where card holders will enjoy 15% cash back at all American Express Card accepting merchants in the selected malls, with an exception to the supermarkets, hypermarkets, hotels and their F&B and retail outlets within the mall.
Promotion is valid from 1 November 2009 to 28 February 2010. All American Express Cards issued by Maybank and Maybank Islamic are eligible to enjoy this promotion. However American Express Corporate Cards are not eligible. SMS or registration is not required.

After a successful promotion on PB Smart Rebate 1 in June until September this year, Public Bank come back with second version of it. This promotion will run for 5 months starting from 1st October 2009 until 28th February 2010.
The second campaign in different than previously where card holders will earn 10% cash rebate on grocery when they spend at least RM500 on petrol in October & November 2009. In December 2009 until February 2010 will earn 10% cash rebate on petrol if the spend at least RM500 on grocery.
All you have to do if interested to participate in this promotion is to register your Public Bank credit card through SMS. To register send SMS through your mobile number by typing “PB {space} 16-digits card no” to 33933.

The government is currently having a 20% toll rebate scheme for those who use 80 toll transactions and above on a single Touch ‘n Go card. The scheme has been announced by the Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak in commemoration of his “100 hari Najib Bersama Rakyat”. This scheme begins in September 2009.
If you are a frequent toll user of more than 80 times per months, it is recommended to have Touch ‘n Go card so that you could enjoy this rebates. To participate all you have to do is pay your toll with Touch ‘n Go card. If you have at least 80 times toll transaction per month bring your Touch ‘n Go card and visit Touch ‘n go hubs at Faber Towers or KL Sentral; or selected Highway Sales Centre. The 20% rebate will be credited to your card immediately. You could start do the claiming on the 5th of the following month.

Public Bank launched its latest card product, the PB Day2Day Visa Card. The new PB Day2Day Card functions as a Visa Debit card and ATM Card. It is directly linked to the Public Bank Savings Account maintained by the cardholder. Customers can use the card for retail purchases, such as shopping, dining or entertainment at any establishment that accept Visa/Bankcard or MEPS locally or globally, or over the internet. There was a report that saying this card can be used to verify paypal account & also withdraw paypal fund.

Beginning 1st July 2009, every transaction make by using your OCBC credit cards will no longer rewarded with points. Instead you will gain cash rebate between 0.2% to 0.5% depending on the card types. The cash rebates will be applicables to all transaction including auto debit, grocery or petrol.
Due to this the current OCBC$ Rewards Programme will ends on 30th June 2009. Before or on this date you may choose to either redden these points for exclusive gifts or it will be automatically converted to rebates. You will received RM15 rebates for every 10,000 points on your Platinum, Titanium, Gold or Classic Cards.
