Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) unitholders will receive a dividend of 7.50 sen per unit for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2010 compared with 7.30 sen declared last year.
The 7.04 million unitholders who currently hold more than 82.72 billion ASB units will also receive a bonus of 1.25 sen, similar to last year.
The income distribution portion involved a total payout of RM5.93 billion while the bonus portion RM603.34 million.

For financial end 30th September 2010, Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia (“AS1M”) pays 6.38 sen for its maiden dividend to the unitholders. In the same period, a total of more than 259,162 peoples subscribe in AS1M with total fund size of more than RM4 billion.
In summary, AS1M invest 67.66% of the total funds size in Malaysia Stock Market. The remaining is in cash or other income instrument.

Malaysia’s palm oil inventory started to decline last month as production began on a seasonal downcycle. This, plus the still tight supply in 1H next year, should keep prices relatively firm and give plantations stocks the opportunity to appreciate further.
However, with recent rainfall seeming ordinary, we believe a bumper crop is in the making and we would see strong production from mid-2011 onwards. This may put an end to the current palm oil price upcycle, which is already more than 2 years old. Maintain Neutral on the sector.

Malaysian Paypal users are now allowed to top up & send Paypal money via Malaysian bank account. This services is the outcome of collaboration between Paypal and RHB Bank.
RHB is the first bank in Malaysia to allow their customers to use their checking or savings account to instantly top-up a Paypal account or send money to anyone with email address via Paypal.
RHB customers also have a shopping site called WorldMart that provides special PayPal merchant deals to users of this new top-up service.
Top up Paypal account is FREE for all RHB customers and the process is done via RHB Bank online banking.
